The juice was gently drained off the grapes that were picked in the cool of the morning to get low colour and phenolic extraction. A portion of the wine was fermented in old barrels to create textural features, whilst the remainder was fermented and clarified in tank to make a more aromatic component. The Rianna Rose is made in a fresh and dry style from predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon. Translucent pink in colour with scents of ripe strawberry followed by pomegranate, musk and spice. The palate is refreshingly clean with spicy cherry, raspberry and blood orange finish.
