Ocho is the world's first single-estate tequila, where each vintage comes from one single agave field. Thus, each vintage is unique depending on the terroir and growing conditions. No more tequila can be made from that field for another 8 years at least, since agaves take 8 years to grow. Ocho anejo tequila is aged for one year in exhausted bourbon barrels that impart minimal flavour to the tequila, this preserving its original, delicate agave flavour.
