The Nest Egg series is an elite group of Bird in Hand wines that have been specifically chosen by the winemaking team to receive the utmost care and attention. Limited quantities available.
In 2013 we created only 3,635 individually numbered bottles of this exceptional wine.
The wine has deep crimson in colour and exhibits classic varietal lifted aromas of fleshy plum, mulberry and violets. The complex palate is an intense expression of the aromas, enhanced with silky tannins, supple texture and a long, persistent finish.
Matured for over 18 months in tight grained French oak (30% new), this extremely limited wine will cellar exceptionally well and reward the patient and discerning collector.
